As Innkeepers we have met some amazing and wonderful guests and made great friendships – some who still stay in touch. Meeting people and learning about different cultures in other parts of the world is a wonderful experience that we treasure.

Thank you for a relaxing enjoyable stay. We love the Whitman Inn, coming here for over 20 years, so close to the beautiful park. Breakfast and dinner were delicious—home cooking…..

Vielen herzlichen Dank für den freundlichen Service, das leckere Frühstück und vor allem für die netten Gespräche. Es war schön hier. Den Tag im Nationalpark haben wir total genossen und sind dankbar, dass wir das alles erleben durften..

This venerable house now an Inn—called the Whitman. Hospitality comes with tasty food, delightfully prepared, served with friendship and grace. In this Inn which rambles through nooks and gables, rooms are warmed by a wood doctor…
A hidden gem of a place in Kempt on the edge of Keji!
My wife, myself and a friend are just home from a weekend spent at the Kempt Country Inn, formerly the Whitman Inn. Located less than 5 minutes from the gates of Keji, it was the ideal location for two glorious days snowshoeing in the park. We stayed in the very well equipped housekeeping suite and prepared our own meals with the exception of breakfast which was provided by Marc and his wife, the new owners of the Inn. From the great breakfast, the comfy beds, the games room ( large smart tv, pool table, table tennis etc), cleanliness and friendliness, it was the perfect weekend escape. There is also an indoor pool which looked very very nice indeed! Planning to return in the Spring already.
